That second photo is a cracker but I do like the one in the story where it was discovered that there was a mere scattering of snow to deal with. You did manage to find the dugs after all the digging?
My only slight worry about the snow sticking around is if the weather takes a turn for the worse when we're trying to get to Gairloch next week! It'd be a wee bit of a pity if we'd to spend the whole holiday stuck in a snowdrift somewhere.

And we went home with the same number of dugs as we left with, so that was a result!
