Well, maybe not quite...
I've not been out on a hill for a month now, partly because of birthday celebrations but mainly because of laziness, but here's a few pictures of the WBD on Schiehallion at the start of November. They can be contrasted somewhat with the pictures of Molly thereon just a few weeks earlier.
And it's snowing in Lanarkshire now, so winter is definitely amongst us.
Ah, Schiehallion. And in the snow. Just the job.

It seems to be turning into my "go to" hill when everything else is too far away, or takes too long.
DeleteThings could be worse!
Nice photos! I'm dyin' to get oor Nellie oot tae play in the snaw on the hills. We seem to have managed to miss the white stuff with it falling and then melting between trips. Hopefully it'll come back soon.
ReplyDeleteShe's bonkers down the park with a football when it's slippy so I reckon steeper ground could be interesting to say the least.
I certainly wasn't expecting so much snow that day. I was confidently predicting in the car park that crampons wouldn't remotely be necessary. That was technically true, but a couple of degrees colder the night before and I'd have looked like more of a know it all erse than ever as I was sliding down the steep bits. ;)
