I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this, at first sight.
I suppose though that if the article is correct, then folk in Scotland maybe do assume that the money they give stays in Scotland. And I suppose times being what they are it's not surprising that charities have to fight for their own particular corner. So, probably fair enough of the SSPCA.
Not that I wish any harm on the unfortunate animals elsewhere, of course.
Whatever. They could all do with a bit of help.
And I know it's a cheap shot, but I can think of better uses for £12.5 million of public money than this. Although maybe I should be grateful we didny stump up the full 50.
