Hiilwalking might be a thing of the past!

I just can't seem to get a combination of circumstances where I can be bothered. In the four years I've been doing this, there has never been a gap of 7 weeks, not even when I'd to stop for a wee while after the Hairmyres visit.

I have two extra days off this week. I was all packed last night (Sunday) and had actually decided on the big Buaichaille to try & hold my interest.

It's just no' happening.

It's true that I feel guilty about leaving the dugs when I'm on holiday, but it was all arranged, with maternal cover and everything.

I desperately need to lose a bit ofweight as well. I really need to get back into this. OK, I was up Meikle Bin on Saturday, & the plan is to take the dogs back there tomorrow as part of the ongoing "how are their legs" experiment, but the prospect of a new Munro seems an awful long way away. I'm also starting to no' miss it, which is perhaps even more of a worry.

Not going hillwalking could easily become a habit.

Even the imminent hundredth is doing nothing to encourage me.

Hmmm.
