All the participants in the watery misadventure turned up just as Maureen & Innes arrived, so the house was the scene of more excited chaos as the tale was related.
When it came time for them to say their goodbyes, I really was choked. They stay an awful long way away. I suspect Maureen knows fine that there isn't much chance that they'll see us over there. I think she knows that I'm awful set in my ways. I'm like my dad. Maureen's awful like my dad in many ways too. Or maybe it's more that she's reminiscent of him.
Either way, I do miss him.
It was great to see them here. Happy thoughts.
