So what's going to happen tomorrow?

Scotland V Italy. Hampden Park, 5:00pm.

They were saying on the radio today that the whole thing is a bit bizarre, in that come tomorrow night, if Italy have cruised through, winning by about 3 goals, no-one will be able to believe that the bookies have them as favourites to lose.

But th radio also accepted that there is a really odd feeling about this game, & that there might well be a very big football story at the weekend.

They - we - deserve to get through. You're supposed to get out of life what you deserve. I think... Oh, bugger it. We're going to qualify. I think Ukraine might do us a favour. Here we go. McLeish is very good. maybe that'll be enough to make the difference.
