We do like the George in Inveraray, so it was nice for me & Marion to get a couple of nights there to round off the week's holiday. A very dog friendly place, which is essential if you're soft like us and won't even consider the possibility of putting them into kennels. That's why we see so much of Scotland.
One word of warning though - split level bathrooms with wooden floors are hugely attractive and olde worlde...but remember to properly dry your feet before you try and negotiate the stairs, eh?
