We've probably had - based on me looking out the window at the undisturbed stuff - about five inches of snow since last night. It was certainly a wee bit hairy getting home from work this evening, as there was no way for the gritters to get through the traffic. With a couple of exceptions though, the roads were generally wet and greasy rather than full-on slippery.
It won't be fun if it freezes tonight of course, which is the current forecast.
Anyway, the point of the post is that it did tickle me a wee bit when the news on ITV finished with a sign off about the chaotically severe winter conditions, and to illustrate the point put up "some of your incredible photographs!!!"
The set included one of... a snowman.
