...for stealin' secret documents from the German High Command!



When I were a lad, Scotland's premier folk rocky/fiddle based - with added bagpipes - beat combo "The Pier Lights" used to do a blistering version of  Let Ramensky Go. It's a cracking song. The post title is the line that I used to get to sing, from my position behind the drumkit. (I also used to be able to shoehorn the chorus from Blue Pearl's "Naked in the Rain" into it as well, because the chord progression worked, but the traditionalists rather frowned on that.)

In all events, there's now a book about yer man, and given the source material I reckon it'd definitely be worth sticking on your Christmas reading list.
