Bed of the Yellow Stag

My feet are still too sore for me to post any detail about the walk me and Andy did yesterday, but I reckon by about Wednesday I'll be fit enough to press sufficient keys to put together a coherent report.

In the meantime, here's a photie of the last stretch towards the summit tor of Ben Avon. In keeping with the general theme of the day out, the summit plateau is so big that it's possible to make out the curvature of the earth.

At least it'd take my mind off the pain in my feet.

  3. This one's near the top of my list for climbing. I think I might shuffle it down a few places.

    1. See, I feel slightly guilty now - it's indisputably one of the most varied, picturesque and stimulating hillwalks in Scotland...you just need to break it up a wee bit more than we did.

I'm feeling fine now, by the way. And that only took six days.
