Good Pub Guide

In honour of Marion having a week off her work I wangled a free day on Friday and we had a leisurely drive through/overnighter in Argyll. In the 24 hours involved, we spent quality time in the Drovers, the Kames Hotel, and the George.

I'm happy to debate allcomers as to whether there's three better hostelries in Scotland that you could visit at a leisurely pace in a period of 24 hours...when the deal breaker is that you've got dugs that require to be embraced and indeed cherished therein. ;0)

Having said all that, the talent booker at The Dakota Tavern still has them beat when it comes to live entertainment:


That's probably a bit of a trek for a weekend away, right enough.
